The Durham Trillium Quilters' Guild welcomes people of all ages, genders/identifications, and quilting skill levels.
Our guild is a non-profit organization with the following aims and objectives:
The Durham Trillium Quilters' Guild was formed in 1986 by some women who wanted to establish a quilting guild outside of Toronto. Initially, the group met at each others' homes, but eventually the interest and membership grew to the point where they had to relocate to a larger facility.
We are currently meeting in person at the DeStefano Funeral Celebration and Reception Center in Oshawa.
Each month we have a vibrant program with guest speakers, quilt Show & Shares, trunk shows, and more . . .
The Durham Trillium Quilters Guild meets the second Monday of every month, from September through June. In-person meetings have resumed with virtual meetings planned for 3 winter months.
For in person meetings, the doors open at 6:45 PM and the meeting starts at 7:00 PM. For virtual meetings, our meetings open at 6:30 PM for a virtual chat and get-together, and the actual event starts at 7:00 PM.
If a 2nd Monday of the month conflicts with a holiday, a new date will be determined for that meeting and will be communicated to members and posted on this website.
The guild has resumed in-person meetings, although we will have 3 of the winter meetings virtually in 2023. For virtual meetings, meeting invitations will be sent via email to members prior to each meeting. The following is our schedule for our guild presentations:
Our program is dynamic and we offer a great variety of guest speakers to enlighten, entertain, and inspire your creativity. Come see what we have to offer!
Our meeting are at the DeStefano Funeral, Celebration and Reception Center. The address is 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa ON. Doors open at 6:45 pm and the meeting starts at 7:00 pm.
Virtual meeting will be held in January, February and March.
