2024-2025 DTQG President’s Challenge
$5 to participate – funds will cover prizes.
The President’s challenge for this guild year is to make a quilt based on a song of your choice. Guidelines are as follows:
- Minimum dimension is 12 inches.
- Maximum dimension is 36 inches.
- The quilt you make is to be inspired by a song of your choice. It can be a favourite song, a song that is motivational, part of a song’s lyrics that mean something to you / inspire you, your “hanging onto sanity in traffic” car song, or any other song you want.
- The quilt can use an established design or pattern or be original, but it should be done in such a way that the finished item clearly demonstrations the interpretation / inspiration of the song of your choosing.
- Quilt must be finished, bound, and have a label. Please cover the label prior to submission. If the label is not covered, a cover will be put over the label before judging.
Quilt is to be submitted at the May meeting.
Quilts will be judged by the President and winners will be presented at the June meeting.
