Members of the guild who sign up to participate will be randomly assigned another participant guild member to be their Secret Santa.
Each Secret Santa is given a wish list of gift ideas / quilting preferences for their giftee, to help to choose a gift to give to their chosen giftee.
As the guild plans to meet in person in December, only those planning to be at the December meeting should sign up to participate in the Secret Santa program.
Participants are asked to bring their wrapped gifts to the December meeting, with a tag addressed to the giftee (but not saying who the gift is from). The participating members will get together to open the gifts, and after opening their present, each giftee will then guess which participating member was their Secret Santa.
Gifts are to be worth a minimum of $15 and are to be worth a maximum of $25. Gifts can be purchased or they can be made. You can gift something you have in your stash as long as it is a new/unused item. Please don't be a "Scrooge" and cut up your old curtains to give a particular colour of fabric, or give a dollar store mug or other item worth less than the minimum value. Only give a bag of small waste scraps of fabric if the giftee said they'd really REALLY love a bag of such scraps.
The On-Line Registration form for Secret Santa must be received by 5 pm on Friday November 04. In-person registration will not be available at guild meetings - it is on-line only. The giftees will be assigned and the Secret Santas will get the information on their giftee no later than end of day 2022 November 12. This provides the Secret Santa with one month to get the gift and have it wrapped and ready for the December 12 guild meeting.
